Here’s a simple breakdown of what you can expect from WoodWorks Refurbishing.
We start every project with a free estimate—including setting clear expectations for cost and providing wood samples to help you choose the perfect shade. After you choose your customizable cabinet color, we’ll schedule your service at a time that’s most convenient for your busy schedule. We’ll also provide instructions for how to prep your kitchen prior to our arrival.
Next, we thoroughly prep the work area and your cabinets. We start by taping off your cabinets and covering any appliances before we start prepping your wood surfaces. If the cabinets are damaged, we lightly sand the area, then degrease, and chemically prepare the wood surfaces for staining.
Finally, we’ll restore the wood to your desired color and follow up with either a satin/matte, semi-gloss, or high gloss finish. You can anticipate 8-10 hours for your cabinets to dry and 24 hours for them to cure completely. After that, they’ll be ready for regular use.
